Better than I expected. This knife has now replaced my other blade.
Great little knife for all of my needs! Can’t wait to see what else comes out of olive knives🤙🏽🤘🏽!!
My EDC blade(s) over the last 10+ years have been a Chris Reeves and a Bawidamann. I, like most knife guys, believe a good blade should be on your belt all day long.
I had been looking at the OLIVE Arbor for roughly a year. I don't know why it took me so long to get one. But now that I have one.....holy moly macaroni, I love it! This thing is a beast. Well made, well balanced, and the grind it perfect.
If you are reading this, all I can say is "buy one, today". You will NOT be disappointed.
I like it very much👍🏻the grip, the blade... awesome
Ok… this knife is the real deal. I watched all the you tube videos on line, read the reviews and almost decided it was too good to be true. That would be a wrong assumption. This thing is wicked sharp and retains an edge like no other blade I own. It is a little on the larger size for some of my pants pockets but it is light and really thin. The action was a bit tight initially but settles into near perfect with a little time and experience. If you are hesitating buying this knife….just pull the trigger. You wont be disappointed.
Hard to believe that there’s a better option out there.. great knife
This is a beautiful knife.I fully expect to work this knife for a lifetime. Super thin and slicy. Highly recommend
Love this knife been using it everyday fidgeting with it constantly. It came fucking sharp!! Love the bevel it came with. It even has a iridescent shine to it at certain angles. The only thing I would say to improve is make the detent a bit stronger and hopefully one day a button pivot lock version comes out
Hands down a beautiful yet badass knife! I have onlyhad it for a week and use it for breaking down boxes at home and work but I carry it everyday to work. I’m a fixed blade guy but this flipper is my go to.
resist chipping). At $61.77 per ounce of knife and considering the materials used for construction, I think you are over the target for value. Great knife so far. This will be my EDC for the foreseeable future. Use will tell me much more about real performance. It will be cleaning a dozen or more pheasants this Sunday, as long as we do our part as hunters.
First, the packaging. A preview of things to come. Well thought out. Couples with the cookbook & manual; fantastic touch. The knife is top notch. Balanced, great size. The Fibonacci grind needs to be seen to be truly appreciated. This blade will make others take notice. My color combo, green scales with bronze fasteners is a head-turner. Sheath is amazing quality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a workhorse with looks to match.
The Lenta is an amazing folding knife with the sharpest edge in the game. Simple lines, great weight and feel in the hand, rock solid lock up and just fidgety enough to keep me busy. All this for a super reasonable price. Packing, shipping and communication was spot on. The only small complaint was there was no swag in the box like I’ve seen others get but that’s super minor. Looking forward to future purchases!
The grind looks crazy, nice jimping. Feels great in my large hands. Can't wait to get outdoors in the Spring to really put this knife to work.
When I purchased the Lenta with tungsten blade, I had ONLY ONE consideration, that was HRC and edge retention. It did not disappoint. At first, I only used it to open the plastic wrap on packages of cookies. Went through them like a razor blade. I needed to change a bulb in my bathroom. I have high lumen LED bulbs. I like to cut off the plastic bulb part so that they shine brighter. I usually put the plastic part of the bulb in a vise, but it kept moving around. This process takes about 10 minutes. Then I had an idea. I wondered if my brand new Lenta would cut a deep gouge in the plastic bulb. Placed the edge on the bulb and gave it a whittle stroke. It sliced off the top of the bulb LIKE NOTHING!!!!!
This is the FIRST knife that I've owned that would do that. Happy?
More than!
Knife is larger than expected, which is a good thing. Came sharp from the factory, beautiful finish on it, and seems comfortable to hold.
This is coming from an open box review, cutting some paper and cardboard.
I do plan on carrying it as an EDC for work as a Carpenter but I use a box cutter at work more often than a pocket knife. The pocket knife is more to cut things that need that extra cutting length. Like cutting house wrap in half, and that's mostly all I would use this for realistically. At least until camping season.
What a great product a great knife I would recommend to anyone who loves a long lasting blade
Feels bigger in the hand than I expected. Blade is impossibly thin and incredibly sharp. I like it so far.
Incredible knife. The quality of this thing is solid. The blade looks fantastic and came sharp.
All I can say is this is the best pocket knife.I have ever owned. This\nKnife is the sharpest knife I have ever gotten from the factory. The Size is perfect. Maybe on the next version of this knife, Olive can give it contoured scales. Im definitely getting a 2nd one.
