1. Who we are

oliveknives.com is operated by Olive Knives LLC, 41 Copple Crown Road, New Durham, NH 03855, USA ("Olive Knives", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@oliveknives.com.

2. Agreement

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Limited Lifetime Warranty. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may update these Terms. Changes apply to orders placed after the update date shown above.

3. Age and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to buy from Olive Knives. By placing an order you confirm that you are 18 or older. We may cancel any order if we believe the buyer is under 18.

4. Knife laws

Laws on buying, owning, carrying and importing knives vary by country, state and city. You are responsible for making sure that the products you order are legal where you live and where you carry them. We may refuse or cancel orders to destinations where we believe a sale would be unlawful.

5. Orders, pricing and availability

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices are in US dollars unless shown otherwise. If a product is listed with an incorrect price or description because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount charged in full. Taxes and any shipping charges are shown at checkout.

6. Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, returns by our Refund Policy, and product coverage by our Limited Lifetime Warranty. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand your order to the carrier.

7. Partner products

We sell selected products from brand partners, such as Black Beard Fire Starters and NESTOUT. Some ship directly from the partner, and they ship within the US only. The partner's own product warranty, if any, applies to those products.

8. Product use and safety

Knives are sharp tools. Read the care and safety information included with your product. Use knives only for lawful purposes and as intended. Do not use them as pry bars, hammers, chisels, screwdrivers or throwing knives.

9. Reviews and submissions

If you post a review, photo or comment, you confirm it is your honest opinion, based on your own experience, and that you own it. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce and display it, with your submitted name, in connection with Olive Knives. We may remove submissions that are unlawful, offensive, off-topic or not about the product, but we do not remove reviews just because they are negative.

10. Intellectual property

The site content, the Olive Knives name and logos, and our product designs are owned by Olive Knives and protected by trademark, copyright and patent law. See our Patents page. You may not copy or use them commercially without our written permission.

11. Warranties

Products are covered by the Limited Lifetime Warranty and by any implied warranties required by law, limited to the duration of that written warranty where the law allows. Apart from that, the website and its content are provided "as is".

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Olive Knives is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

14. Disputes

If you have a problem with an order or product, please email hello@oliveknives.com first and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Any dispute that we cannot resolve will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, and you and Olive Knives LLC consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court where you live, if it qualifies.

15. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, email hello@oliveknives.com with the details.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
